Despite discovery+ stopping its operations in the Philippines, other Discovery channels can still be accessed locally.

Contents available on HBO Asia

To recall, Discovery last month announced that discovery+ will stop its operations in the Philippines on April 27.

While discovery+ is no longer available in the Philippines, several of our popular Discovery channels - Discovery Channel Southeast Asia, TLC Southeast Asia, Asian Food Network, HGTV Asia, Travel Channel Asia and Animal Planet Southeast Asia are still available locally, discovery+ said in social post.

Meanwhile, to access content from HBO, Warner Bros., and DC, the public can watch these through HBO Asia, it added.

Warner Bros. Discovery also said last month that it will focus on providing HBO GO services in the Philippines.

Earlier this month, Warner Bros. announced that HBO Max and discovery+ will be merging to create the new streaming service "Max," according to a report by The Verge.

The new platform is set to launch on May 23.

A monthly subscription will cost USD 9.99, USD 15.99, or USD 19.99 depending on the plan.
