HUAWEI Mate X3 launched in PH: Certified tough design, super-slim body, PHP 109,999 price tag!

The HUAWEI Mate X3 foldable phone with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and super slim design is now available in the Philippine market.

The new flagship foldable features two screens. The first is the 7.85-inch OLED screen with a 2496 x 2224 resolution, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, a 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a 426 ppi. The second is the 6.4-inch Kunlun Glass-protected LTPO OLED screen with a 2504 x 1080 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

Inside the new foldable are the 3.2GHz 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G octa-core processor, New Adreno GPU, 12GB RAM, 512GB of internal storage, NM storage expansion, and a 4,800mAh/5,060mAh (Collector's Edition) battery with 66W SuperCharge, 50W Wireless SuperCharge, and 7.5W wireless reverse charging.

At the back of the phone is the 50MP f/1.8 Ultra Vision Camera, 13MP f/2.2 Ultra-wide-angle camera with 2.5cm Macro, 12MP f/3.4 5x Periscope telephoto camera with OIS and LED flash. While on the punch holes of both inner and outer screens is the 8MP f/2.4 selfie camera.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IPX8 water resistance, stereo speakers, WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2 BLE, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou (B1 + B1C + B2a), and two-way satellite imaging.

The phone measures 156.98 x 141.5 x 5.3 mm when unfolded and weighs 239 grams (Leather)/ 241 grams (Feather Sand)/ 242.5 grams (Collectors Edition).

Lastly, running the show is EMUI 13.1 and will come in either Feather Sand, Black, White, Purple, Dawn Gold, and Aoyamadai.

The HUAWEI Mate X3 will be available for pre-order this May 12 to 25, 2023 and will be available at HUAWEI stores and authorized distributors nationwide soon after. Those who pre-order will get a free HUAWEI Watch GT3 worth PHP 12,999.
