Remember when we shared that the MatePad 11 is coming to the Philippines soon? Today, tech giant HUAWEI made the announcement official.

As a quick recap, the MatePad 11 is the company's newest mid-range tablet boasting PC-level capabilities for work and multitasking.

Best features of the new tablet

The device is packed with a starlight sand rear cover and cosmic start ring for the camera, an 11-inch LCD (IPS) display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate and crisp 2.5K WQXGA 2560 x 1600 resolution, P3 cinematic color gamut, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification, and TÜV Rheinland Flicker-Free Certification, 86 percent screen-to-body ratio for smaller bezels, and 2.84GHz 7nm Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 7,250mAh battery capacity (up to 12 hours battery life) with USB-C 22.5W SuperCharge support.

The new tablet also highlights 4x Harman Kardon speakers, 2x microphones, M-Pencil (2nd generation) support, Wireless keyboard support, 13MP f/1.8 main camera, 8MP f/2.0 selfie cam, fast WiFi 6 with base-station-array antenna, and HarmonyOS 3.1 OS with plenty of multitasking features.

Some of them include the Multi-Window to split screens, Dual-Earbud Connection for music sharing, Widget Stack, Widget Group, and SuperHub for easy file transfers on PC and phones.

To help its users with work, the tablet also comes with dedicated "PC-Level" WPS Office support.

The device is now official in the Philippines. Those who will order the device from 26 to June 30 will get freebies up to PHP 18,346. 

It is available through offline and online HUAWEI Stores, authorized retail outlets, and leading e-commerce sites like Lazada and Shopee. You may also purchase it at the official HUAWEI store online.
