POCO F5 Series unveiled in UAE ahead of its launch!

The two smartphones are supposed to go official on May 9 (tomorrow), however, they suddenly appeared in the UAE region.

We are speculating that POCO or Xiaomi UAE could've accidentally posted it earlier on their website. Apparently, the two pages are now taken down but GSMArena was able to spot the images and details.

Let's start first with the base variant Poco F5. As expected, the phone highlights the new mid-range chip Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 with a clock speed of up to 2.9GHz and with 4nm lithography and an Adreno GPU with twice the performance versus its predecessor.

This phone is also basically the Redmi Note 12 Pro Turbo so it has the 6.67-inch AMOLED with 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby vision.

For internals, the phone uses 8 or 12GB RAM and 256GB storage while the battery has 5,000mAh with USB-C and 67W fast charging.

For cameras, it has a 64MP primary sensor with OIS and EIS joined with 8MP ultra-wide helper and 2MP macro shooter. While the selfie camera has 16MP with f/2.45 aperture.

Up next is the POCO F5 Pro or also known as the Redmi K60 (China version). This model's main spotlight is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and the cameras with 64MP Omnivision OV64B sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 6P lens, OIS, and EIS. It is coupled with 8MP ultra-wide shooter and 2MP for macro.

As for the display, it comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED with 3200 x 1440 resolution at 526 ppi. Meanwhile, it also has a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

In terms of internals, it has 8GB and 12GB RAM while the storage is 256GB and 512 GB. While the battery has 5,500mAh with 67W fast charging and 30W wireless charging.

Another feature mentioned is the LiquidCool VC to handle the temperatures when gaming or camera shooting.

For connectivity, both have 5G, 4G, WiFi, NFC, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, both phones feature Android 13 with MIUI 14 skin on top.

Unfortunately, there are still no prices revealed yet for them. Since the official launch is tomorrow. Let's just wait and see how much will they be. Also, the PH launch could be really soon as well since the POCO PH Facebook page is teasing it already.
