To recall, this laptop boasts a machine-crafted durable carbon fiber which the brand stresses that this 2nd gen propriety fiber makes the device light and 25 percent more rigid. Meanwhile, the palm rest and bottom covers are made from magnesium alloy material with both are strengthened with structural ribs for added portability and durability.

The display

The machine uses the 13.3-inch PureSight IPS screen with 90Hz adaptive refresh rate, QHD 2560 x 1600 resolution, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, Delta E<1 colors, Dolby Video, TUV Rheinland EyeSafe and Low Blue Light certification and optional touch screen feature.

Inside, the Yoga Slim 7 Carbon is equipped with 10nm up to 5GHz Intel Core i7-1360P with 12 cores and 16 threads and Intel Iris Xe GPU. Meanwhile, it is paired with 16GB LPDDR5 dual-channel RAM and up to 1 TB M.2 PCIe SSD.

For battery, it has a 50WHr size that can last up to 14.5 hours of local video playback and can be charged using a 45W power supply.

The keyboard

Other features mentioned are the 2x 2W Harman Kardon speakers w/ Dolby Atmos support, 2x digital mics, and HD 720P IR camera with privacy shutter.

On the ports side, it comes with 1x USB-C with support for Thunderbolt 4, DP, PD, and 40Gbps data transfer. There's also another USB-C with similar features but won't have the Thunderbolt 4. For wireless connectivity, it has WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1.

As for software, the laptop runs Windows 11 Home out of the box.
