Is there a Major Internet Outage in PH now? Ours went slow too!
According to Downdetector.ph at around 4:20 PM there was a major outage of the internet in the country.

Did your internet go slow? Ours too!
This has resulted in affecting major sites like Google, YouTube, Gmail, and Facebook. For us, we started experiencing slow internet at around 3PM and it got worse by past 4PM. Meanwhile, PLDT and Smart look to have connection issues.
In our home, we're using a 5G Smart Router with usually over 500Mbps internet speed and it suddenly went turtle slow affecting our work. There's no clear evidence of what is causing this right now that even resulted in internet issues with the likes of Smart and PLDT and major websites like Google and Facebook.
For now, we're using DITO data on our mobile and it seems to be working fine to view some social media apps.
This is a developing story as of now. We will update you once we heard what is behind all of this.
