realme announces the C53 entry-level smartphone that is slightly lesser than the C55 model.
The phone comes in two color choices similar to the C55 as well with the Champion Gold and Mighty Black.
At the front, you get a huge 6.74-inch LCD (IPS) screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Although realme did not mention the resolution of the display.
Inside, it uses the 12nm 1.8GHz UNISOC T612 8-core chip with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. It is coupled with 6GB RAM but that can be increased virtually by another up to 6GB. The storage on the other hand has 128GB and can be expanded via microSD cards.
For battery, the phone has a 5,000mAh size and charges using USB-C and 33W SuperVOOC charger.
On the camera side, the phone uses 50MP primary sensor accompanied by a depth helper with an unspecified resolution. For Selfies, it has an 8MP module that can shoot 720p at 30fps video.
Other features noted are the Mini Capsule dynamic island, UltraBoom speaker, side-fingerprint reader, and 3.5mm audio jack.
Connectivity-wise, the phone has dual 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.
