Ookla: Smart is the fastest mobile operator in PH, Apple devices experience the best speeds (Q2 2023)

Based on the newest Market Analysis by Ookla this Q2 2023, Smart has emerged as the fastest mobile operator in the Philippines.

The fastest mobile operators in PH Q2 2023

The company has recorded a Median Download Speed of 35.39 Mbps in Q2 2023. In comparison, Globe and DITO recorded 22.68 and 19.69, respectively.

For Mobile, the country remains at rank number 83 globally with an average Median Download Speed of 26.98 Mbps, an Upload Speed of 6.18 Mbps, and a Latency of 23ms last June 2023.

For Fixed Broadband, we are down by 2 spots to rank number 47 despite the increase in both Download and Upload speeds. The country's average Median Download Speed for Fixed Broadband is now up to 92.84 Mbps with an Upload Speed of 93.12 and a Latency of 6ms in June as well.

Fastest mobile manufacturer in PH Q2 2023

Ookla also revealed the fastest phones in the Philippines for Q2 2023. Apple's iPhone 14 Pro Max is on top followed by Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, and iPhone 14 Pro. iPhone 13 Pro Max and Galaxy S22 Ultra complete the top 5.

For device manufacturers, Apple is the clear winner with a Median Download Speed of 47.01 Mbps. Samsung, Xiaomi, HUAWEI, and Infinix made the list as well.
