OPPO's flagship foldable smartphone Find N2 has just been hailed as the "Best Smartphone" in Asia at the 2023 Asia Mobile Awards at MWC Shanghai 2023.

The OPPO Find N2 was recognized for its outstanding performance and innovative user experience. OPPO said that its device stood out from a competitive shortlist to claim the highly prestigious award.

To those who do not know, GSMA's Asia Mobile Awards are the region’s most prestigious accolade for the connectivity industry. The Best Smartphone in Asia Award is judged by prominent industry experts from GSMA based on criteria that include performance, innovation, and industry leadership.

Meanwhile, the OPPO Find N2 is the company's top-of-the-line flagship foldable smartphone offering to boast a UTG glass 7.1-inch inner screen with 1920 x 1792 resolution and an outer screen of Gorilla Glass Victus-protected 5.54-inch with 2129 x 1080 resolution. Both have a 120Hz refresh rate and the tablet mode even has a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

When unfolded, the device boasts less visible crease due to its ultra-light and durable Flexion Hinge and the industry’s first aerospace-grade carbon fiber screen support frame.

For the rest of the specs, the handset is powered by the 4nm 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core chipset with next-gen Adreno GPU, paired with 12GB/16GB LPPDDR5 RAM, 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and 4,520mAh that charges using USB-C 67W SUPERVOOC 2.0 fast charging.

It is also equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor, 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide cam, and 32MP Sony IMX709 RGBW 2x telephoto sensor as well as a 32MP selfie shooter. The cameras also use the MariSilicon X NPU and Hasselblad tuning.

Based on the Q1 2023 data from IDC, the said handset captured 35.0 percent of the Chinese foldable smartphone market. It ranked first in that department.
