HUAWEI Mate 60 now official too: 6.69-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED, 50MP cam, satellite tech

After the unexpected release of the Mate 60 Pro, tech giant HUAWEI also surprisingly launched its regular version.

The regular HUAWEI Mate 60 features a similar-looking design at the back in two-tone White-Grey and Green colorways.

Single punch-hole

In front, it is a little different as it is sporting a single-punch-hole display for the 13MP ultra-wide selfie shooter. This means that it won't have all the other sensors from the other punch-holes of the Mate 60 Pro.

The display is also a little smaller at 6.69 inches. It uses an LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2668 x 1216 resolution, and a 2nd Gen Kunlun glass.

Inside, the chip is unspecified. Some are speculating that it could be the same Kirin 9000s from its Pro version, but let's wait.

The device also has 12GB RAM, 512GB internal storage via NM card slot, a 4,750mAh battery with USB-C 66W fast charging, and 50W wireless charging.

For cameras, it boasts a 50MP f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture main camera paired with a 12MP ultra-wide shooter and a 12MP 5x periscope optical zoom camera.

The rest of the specs

It also has two-way BeiDou satellite messaging in China, IR Blaster, and Bluetooth 5.2.

The device runs with HarmonyOS 4.0 with Huawei Mobile Services.

Other details about the phone are still scarce for now.

There is no info if the device will be available outside of the region first.
