Sony A7cII and A7cR priced in PH: 33MP, 61MP, BIONZ XR and AI processing engine, starts at PHP 129,999

Prices for the Sony Alpha series A7cII and A7cR full-frame compact cameras were revealed in the Philippines.

Sony A7cII and A7cR are priced in the Philippines!

First, let's talk about the Sony A7cII, it comes with a full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor with 33MP paired with a BIONZ XR image processing engine.

The A7cII body

As a compact full-frame camera, it weighs lightly at 698 grams making it 22 percent light and up to 45 percent less volume versus the predecessor Alpha 7 IV. Sony says this can be suitable for travelers who want to capture HQ still images or movies in different settings while it can also be your daily driver for snapshots.

Moreover, the camera also boasts a standard ISO range of 100 to 51,200 on still images and movies while it has an extended ISO range of 50 to 204,800 on still images making it capable of capturing high sensitivity with lesser noise.

The body of A7cR

Up next is the Sony A7cR, similarly it is also a compact full-frame camera with a back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor with 61MP resolution plus the BIONZ XR image processor. 

On this camera, it is 29 percent less heavy and 53 percent more compact than the Alpha 7R V unit.

When it comes to ISO sensitivity, it has a range of 100 to 32,000 for still images and videos which can also be expanded from 50 to 102,400 still images. It also has 7.0 step optical 5-axis in-body image stabilization, and Pixel Shift Multi Shooting for synthesizing high-res images.

The Sony SEL1635GM2 lens

For the lens, Sony also priced the SEL1635GM2 with FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II. This will be the world's smallest and lightest wide-angle zoom lens that can deliver superb resolution, bokeh with matching speed, and performance of advanced camera bodies.

It also comes with fast AF performance that can provide a significant edge for stills and movies with a versatile lens.

Pre-orders begin starting September 1,2023 until September 30, 2023. The promo is available in all participating Sony Centres and authorized dealers.

Sony requires a PHP 5K downpayment when pre-ordering at concept stores and authorized retailers.
