OPPO Reno10 Pro+ launches in PH: Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, SRL-level periscope Portrait mode, PHP 39,999 price tag!

Alongside its vanilla and Pro variants, OPPO today formally launched the "Pro+" version of the Reno10 Series 5G in the Philippines.

As the name suggests, it is the most powerful Reno10 phone.

The back design in Glossy Purple

The device is loaded with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 back in Glossy Purple with a porcelain-like feel and the Silvery Gray colorway with OPPO Glow process with a subtle metallic texture and fingerprint-resistant finish. It also features a two-tone camera area with glass and aluminum that is resistant to drop and corrosion to protect its cameras.

3D curved AMOLED screen

In front, the device stars a 6.74-inch AGC Dragontrail Star 2 protected 3D curved 10-bit AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+, 1.5K 2772 x 1240 resolution at 451 ppi, 1,400 nits peak brightness  In-Display fingerprint reader, and a 32MP f/2.4 Sony IMX709 RGBW selfie sensor with AF.

According to the company,  AGC Dragontrail Star 2 glass protection is 20 percent better when it comes to drop resistance than Gorilla Glass 5.

It also has a 1.38mm slim bezel resulting in an impressive 93.9 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Inside, powering the phone is the former flagship 3.0Hz 4nm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU. This chip is still one of the fastest at this price point.

OPPO paired it with its self-developed 6nm MariSilicon X NPU that offers real-time AI computing to improve energy efficiency, ultra-high HDR capabilities, maximize RGBW sensor performance, enable 20-bit HDR Fusion with "extreme" dynamic range, enjoy enhanced RGBW Pro Mode, and record 4K Night Videos, among others.

The Enhanced RGBW Pro Mode promises a 2x increase in RAW processing, up to 8.6dB Image SNR, and up to 1.7x More Textures.

It also has 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 8GB RAM Expansion, and a 4,700mAh battery with 100W SUPERVOOC + SUPERVOOC S Power Management Chip.

According to OPPO, its fast charging solution can charge the device from 1 to 50 percent in just 9 minutes and 30 seconds and 100 percent in just 27 minutes.

It even has the Battery Health Engine tech allowing the phone to maintain as much as percent of its original value after as many as 1,600 charge-discharge cycles or 4 years of usage.

Keeping its performance in check is the Ultra-Conductive Graphite cooling with a VC cooling system that is 92 percent larger than the Reno8 Pro and 1,800 W/mk in thermal conductivity.

For cameras, the handset boasts the 50MP f/1.8 IMX890 primary camera with All Pixel Omni-Direction PDAF + OIS and an 8MP f/2.2 Sony IMX355 112-degree ultra-wide-angle camera.

It also has the 64MP f/2.5 OV64B 3x optical periscope zoom camera w/ PDAF, CDAF, and OIS as well as a dual LED flash.

The company also boasts that it can capture the SLR-level" natural bokeh effect when you use the Portrait mode.

The device also comes with Dual Track Stereo Speakers, an IR Blaster, and an X-axis linear motor.

It also has WiFi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3 LE, OTG, NFC, GPS (L1 + L5), and dual nano SIM slots.

The OPPO Reno10 Pro+ runs with Android 13 OS with ColorOS 13.1 skin on top. It comes with Multi-Screen Connect to seamlessly connect with an OPPO tablet and PCs, a Smart Always-On Display, and more.

OPPO also claims that several third-party safety and privacy certifications, including ISO27001, ISO27701, ePrivacy, TRUSTe, and more.
