Introduced at IFA 2023, the HONOR V Purse with a 7.71-inch foldable OLED screen, Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC, and 50MP main camera is now official in China.
Designed to be worn like a purse or handbag, the new HONOR V Purse features a massive outward folding 7.71-inch (unfolded) OLED screen with a 2348 x 2016 resolution, a 1,600 nits peak brightness, and a 2,160 high-frequency PWM dimming. When folded, the screen becomes a 6.45-inch OLED with a 2348 x 1088 resolution.
Inside is the 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G octa-core processor, Adreno 642L GPU, 16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, NM card storage expansion, and 4,500mAh battery with 35W fast charging.
On the punch hole of the screen is the 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera while on the hump of the phone is the 50MP f/1.9 main camera and 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera with an LED flash.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, dual nanoSIM card support, 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB-C.
The phone measures 156.5 x 74.7 x 4.3 to 8.6mm and weighs 215 grams.
Lastly, it will run on MagicOS 7.2 and will come in either Camellia Gold, Glacier Blue or Elegant Black colorways.

The phone is now available for pre-order from HONOR China's website.
Currently, there is no word yet on international availability and pricing.
