NIO, a Chinese Electronic Vehicle maker launched a smartphone meant for its car products.

As its main highlight, the NIO Phone allows its users to control multiple cars and unlock them even if the smartphone is turned off thanks to the dedicated button that acts as a car key.

The smartphone also has a stand-alone app that makes it possible to connect with the car more easily and seamlessly. Aside from controlling the vehicle, the smart features will aid in the smooth transfer of a video meeting from smartphone to vehicle. Other capabilities, such as syncing music, contacts, and personal device settings, will sync with the cars automatically.

Moving forward, the phone uses a 120Hz 6.81-inch curved  OLED screen with 2K resolution and HDR10+ support.

Inside is a 3.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB storage.

For battery, it has a 5,200mAh capacity that charges using USB-C and 66W adaptor.

For cameras, it has a 50MP Sony IMX707 sensor with OIS + IMX766 ultra-wide shooter + 50MP Sony IMX890 with OIS. There's also a selfie camera but it was unspecified what megapixel it has and the sensor type it uses.

Connectivity-wise it has 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM support.

For OS, it runs Android with Sky UI skin.

NIO Phone 12GB/512GB - CNY 6,499 (around PHP 50.4K)
NIO Phone 12GB/1TB - CNY 6,899 (around PHP 53.5K)
NIO Phone 16GB/1TB - CNY 7,499 (around PHP 58.2K)

Right now it is only limited to the Chinese market. We will update you once NIO Phone comes to the Philippines.
