Apart from the Motorola Edge+ 2023 last May, the phone maker also announced a base version.
The phone arrived in a familiar design as its "Plus variant". It comes in a simple Black colorway and a back cover that looks to have a smooth texture. The difference will be in the camera module which is down to two.
At the front, it uses a 6.6-inch 144Hz 10-bit pOLED curved screen with FHD+ 2,400 x 1080 resolution, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1200 nits of max brightness.
Inside, it is powered by the 2.5GHz 6nm Dimensity 7030 octa-core processor with Mali-G610 MC3 GPU.
It is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, a 4,400mAh battery that charges using a 68W TurboPower adaptor, and a USB-C cable. There's also wireless charging up to 15W as well. In addition, the phone can also charge your wearables with its 5W wireless power sharing.
On the camera side, it uses a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and uses Quad Pixel Technology + 13MP 120-degre ultrawide AF camera and macro shooter + LED flash.
For selfies, it uses a 32MP front sensor with f/2.4 and uses the same Quad Pixel technology.
Other features are Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and an IP68 water and dust-resistant rating.
Connectivity features are 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6E (2.4GHz/5GHz), NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and dual SIM.
For software, the phone runs Android 13 Operating System.

The new smartphone is now available at the Motorola website, Best Buy and Amazon.com. However, it is unknown yet for a PH release.
