ASUS teases the ROG Phone 8: New design, SD8G3, and 65W fast charging!

ASUS teases its upcoming gaming smartphone from the ROG series and it will be the 8th installment.

ROG Phone 8 teasers!

The teaser shows that ASUS has made some changes to the new back design of the ROG Phone 8 particularly in the camera area using a pentagon-shaped island for its three shooters + LED flash.

Another is that you can also see a side-mounted USB-C port just like the predecessor ROG Phone 7 series.

When it comes to internal, a listing from Geekbench already confirmed that it will use the 3.3GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU. The chip is also paired with a MASSIVE 24GB RAM.

Meanwhile, another listing also revealed that the ROG Phone 8 will feature a 65W fast charging which is found on China's 3C agency.

As for the release of the gaming phone, it is expected to arrive in early 2024 and should come with a base Phone 8 model and a Pro variant.
