vivo announces a new device that will join the Y36 series and this time it is called the Y36i.
The phone comes with an identical design to its sibling and will have three color choices Fantasy Purple, Galaxy Gold, and Deep Space Black.
At the front, it has a 6.56-inch LCD (IPS) screen with 1612 x 720 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 16M colors, 840 nits max brightness, and 20.1:9 aspect ratio.
Inside, it is powered by the 2.2GHz 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 6020 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 128GB storage.
For battery, the phone is equipped with a 5,000mAh capacity that charges using USB-C and a 15W power brick.
For cameras, it has a 13MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture which is also joined by an unspecified secondary camera + LED flash.
Other features noted are the side-fingerprint reader and 3.5mm audio jack.
The rest mentioned are 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and dual SIM support.
For OS, the phone runs Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0.

It is now available to order at the vivo China website. Unfortunately, there's no word for other markets at the moment.
