Infinix HOT 40 Pro launched: 120Hz LCD, Helio G99, 108MP main camera

Infinix has introduced the Pro variant of its new HOT 40 series. It has a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, 108MP main rear camera, and 33W fast charging.

Pro-grade HOT 40?

Infinix's HOT 40 series comprises the HOT 40, HOT 40i and the HOT 40 Pro. The last comes with a 6.78-inch LCD screen with a 2,460 x 1,080 resolution, a 500 nits peak brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Inside the smartphone are the 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor, Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, microSD card storage expansion, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast wired charging.

At the back of the phone are the 108MP f/1.75 main camera, a 2MP f/2.4 secondary camera, and an AI lens with f/2.0 aperture and a Quad LED flash. While in front of the phone is 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera with a dual-LED flash.

Other features include side-mounter fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, stereo speakers, DTS, Hi-res audio, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5., GPS, GLONASS, and NFC.

The phone measures 168.6 x 76.6 x 8.25mm and weighs 199 grams. 

Running the show is Android 13-based XOS 13.5.

It will be available first in Nigeria with other markets following it. There are no exact dates or pricing details for the Infinix HOT 40 Pro for the Philippine market.
