Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 and A9+ Kids Edition launched!
As the name implies, these tablets are specifically made to cater to Children and prioritize their safe usage.
To start, the base Galaxy Tab A9 and A9+ Kids Edition appeared in the colorful thick case with an ergonomic rounded shape to ensure less fatigue when holding. The casing will also serve as protection from hard impacts or drops ensuring the tablet is safeguarded.
The base Tab A9 features an 8.7-inch LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate.
The Tab A9+ comes with a bigger 11-inch LCD (IPS) panel with Full HD+ resolution and a smoother refresh rate at 90Hz. Both tablets also feature the Eye Comfort Shield that blocks blue light from the screen and should lessen eye strain for young users.
Inside, the base version comes with a 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core CPU. On the other hand, the Plus version uses 2.4GHz 6nm Snapdragon 695 octa-core. Both devices come with 4GB/8GB RAM or 64GB/128GB expandable memory up to 1TB.
For battery, the Tab A9 comes with 5,100mAh while the A9+ variant gets bigger 7,040mAh capacity. Both of these devices sport USB-C charging and a 15W power brick.
In terms of cameras, both tablets have an 8MP rear shooter but they only differ in selfie cameras as the base variant comes with a 2MP sensor and the Plus variant comes with 5MP.

Other features are quad speakers for an immersive audio experience. Another highlight would be the parental control so parents can set daily screen limits and change, customize the apps that young users may access on the Samsung Kids Mode ensuring that only the safe content can be consumed by the children.
The rest mentioned are WiFi 5(2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS.
For software, both devices run Android 13 with One UI 5.1.1 skin out of the box.
