Infinix announces three smartphones from the HOT 40 series - a base variant, Pro, and an "i" edition.
Let's start first with the base version called the HOT 40. It comes with a 6.78-inch LCD FHD+ 2460 x 1080 90Hz screen with 500 nits max brightness and 270Hz touch sampling rate.
Inside, it is powered by the 2.0GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core processor with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 4 or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM + 8GB virtual RAM and 128GB or 256GB eMMC expandable storage.
For battery, it has a 5,000mAh capacity + 33W fast charging.
For cameras, it has a 50MP primary shooter + 2MP macro helper + quad-LED flash. On the selfie side, it has a 32MP front-facing shooter.
The rest mentioned are side-fingerprint readers, Android 13 with XOS 13.5, and features Magic Ring notifications similar to Dynamic Island.
Next is the Infinix HOT 40i, a slightly lower variant with 90Hz 6.58-inch LCD HD+ 1612 x 720 resolution and 480 nits brightness.
Inside, it is equipped with a 2.0GHz 12nm UNISOC T606 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, 4 or 8GB RAM + 8GB virtual RAM, and 128GB or 256GB UFS expandable storage.
For battery, it has a 5,000mAh capacity but the charging speed is toned down to 18W.
For taking pictures, it uses a single 50MP rear camera + quad-LED flash. For selfies, it uses the same 32MP sensor + dual LED flash.
Next is the Infinix HOT 40 Pro, the version among the series. It has a 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of max brightness.
Inside, the phone is equipped with a 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4 or 8GB RAM + 8GB virtual RAM, and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 expandable storage.
For battery, it gets a 5,000mAh capacity + 33W fast charging.
In terms of cameras, it has a 108MP primary shooter + 2MP macro + AI sensor. At the front, it has 32MP for selfies.
No official pricing for these smartphones yet but Infinix says they will be all "under" USD 200 (around PHP 11K). Infinix has to announce yet for its availability as well
