Technology giant HUAWEI has just launched the nova Y72 in the Philippines.

The new HUAWEI nova Y72 is the company's latest affordable smartphone boasting a premium HUAWEI P60 Pro-like design, a big display, a larger storage capacity, and a massive battery capacity.

The device arrived in 3D curved textured back in Green or Black colorways and it now has an X Button (double click or long press) to easily access frequently used apps.

In front, it uses a large 6.75-inch 90Hz LCD HD+ screen with a notch for the 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

Inside, it is said to be running on the old 2.0GHz 14nm Kirin 710A octa-core processor with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. But, it now comes with 8GB RAM and a bigger 256GB of internal storage for more apps and games.

For battery, it has a 6,000mAh large capacity with up to 31 hours of local video playback on a single charge and a USB-C 22.5W fast charging super with 20 layers of charging safeguards to ensure fast yet safe charging.

At the back, it sports a large 50MP f/1.8 main shooter with AF paired with a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera.

It also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, and dual SIM slots.

The device runs with EMUI 12.
