TECNO POVA 6 and 6 Neo launched!

Just like the older sibling, the two devices sport the same iconic metallic design of the POVA Series.

At the front,  both are equipped with 6.78-inch FHD+ 2436 x1080 screens and 120Hz refresh rates. The key difference is the POVA 6 has an AMOLED panel while the Neo version has an LCD instead.

Inside, the two phones also share the same SoC which is the 2.2GHz Helio G99 Ultimate chip, which is then paired with up to 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage options.

For battery, the POVA 6 has a 6,000mAh size with fast 70W charging support. The 6 Neo gets a higher capacity at 7,000mAh but loses more than half of the charging speed which is now at 33W only. TECNO claims that these batteries can last up to 6 years with battery health remaining at 80 percent thanks to its 1600+ charging cycles.

Moreover, they support the Bypass Charge tech which means the users can still game while charging the device.

Another difference is in the camera department, the regular version gets a 108MP main cam, while the lower Neo version has 50MP instead. Both are paired with an AI depth helper and a dual LED flash.

For selfies, the POVA 6 gets 32MP + dual LED flash, while the other one is toned down to 8MP + dual LED flash.

Other features mentioned are the In-Display fingerprint scanner for POVA 6, and the Neo gets a side-mounted type, while both have 4D vibration, 27342mm2 cooling area, IP53 rating, 3.5mm jack, and stereo speakers.

For connectivity, they are equipped with dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM support.

For OS, the phones run Android 14 with HiOS 14 skin on top.

Both devices are listed on TECNO's website. Unfortunately, there are no price or availability details yet. We will update this article once we hear of it.
