As expected, the Infinix NOTE 40 5G is a gaming-focused smartphone in its price category.

The device features the same 2.2GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7020 octa-core processor with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU found on the NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G.

Moreover, it is also paired with a large 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and massive 512GB of UFS 5.1 expandable storage. By taking some of its storage, the RAM of the device could be extended up to 24GB.

The difference? The device features a flat 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, 1,300 nits peak brightness, JNCD<1.5 color accuracy, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, In-Display fingerprint reader, and a top-center punch-hole for the 32MP f/2.2 selfie shooter. It also has a neatly hidden Dual Flash on its slim top bezels.

For battery, it has a large 5,000mAh capacity with 33W All-Round Fast Charge and support for 15W Wireless MagCharge.

At the back, it also has an Active Halo Design featuring AI Lighting for Incoming Calls, Notifications, Charging, Games, Music, Voice Assistant, and more. It even has four flashes with adjustable lighting levels.

The cameras include a 108MP f/1.75 aperture main camera with PDAF focus 3x in-sensor zoom and a pair of two other cameras for depth sensing.

The rest of the specs

Other features of the phone include an IP54 rating, IR Blaster, JBL stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio, and a cooling system.

The device runs with Android 14 OS with XOS 14 skin.

It also has AI to help its users summarize content, create video scripts, generate event plans, do academic papers, generate wallpapers, remove non-essential notifications based on your preference, and many more.
