Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition announced in PH, will be available for June 8 at PHP 20,990!

Nothing announces a special edition color for its mid-range contender called the Phone(2a) which will be available in PH.

It is still the same device from the ground up but the main difference is on the rear cover's new look. Previously the Nothing's devices only had monochrome colors but now it has subtle color changes.

You will notice the back now has a combination of mostly White and Gray, with a hint of Red, Yellow, Blue, and Light Gray. 

It still retains its own version of Glyph and the Wall-E-like eye camera design.

To recall, the Nothing Phone(2a) features a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 2412 x 1084 resolution, 1,300 nits of peak brightness, 30-120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Powering the device is the 2.8GHz 4nm MTK chip called the Dimensity 7200 Pro octa-core processor with Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. It is also paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB/512GB storage.

For battery, the phone features a 5,000mAh capacity that charges using 45W and USB-C charging brick.

For cameras, it has a 50MP f/1.88 shooter with OIS + 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. While at the front, it packs a 32MP shooter with f/2.4 aperture. Nothing claims that it features UltraXDR, Motion Capture, Night Mode, Action Mode, and Portrait Optimizer.

Other features are an In-Display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and 3x microphones.

Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, 4G, WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.5 out of the box. The brand also promises 4 years of updates.

The Nothing Phone (2a) special edition is going to be available starting June 8 at the Digital Walker store. But do note it is only being sold for the 12GB/256GB variant and will be limited to 100 quantities only. The store also mentioned that the first come first rule will be applied.
