OPPO Reno12 launched: Dimensity 8250, quad-curved display, 50MP Sony LYT-600!
After a week of teasers, OPPO officially introduces the Reno12 Series.

OPPO Reno12 5G launched!
The OPPO Reno12 5G sports a thinner and lighter body versus its predecessor as it brings tougher build quality too. The OPPO Reno12 series features diamond architecture. The center frame is from OPPO's own research and development. According to the firm, it is the hardest die-cast aluminum alloy in the industry yet, with a compressive strength that is far higher than the industry standard.
At the front, it uses a 6.7-inch quad-curved OLED with 1.5K 2,772 x 1240 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1200 nits of max brightness, 2160Hz PWM dimming, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

Inside, it is powered by the 3.1GHz 4nm Dimensity 8250 8-core chip with Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. This chipset boasts MediaTek Star Speed Engine tech to fully bring out the potential of end-to-end gaming as per the chipmaker's claims.
It is paired with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage, 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging.
For cameras, it has the 50MP f/1.8 Sony LYT-600 main cam with OIS + 8MP ultra-wide sensor + 50MP 2x telephoto Samsung JN5 shooter. For selfies, it has a 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor as well.
Other features noted are IP65 water and dust resistance and stereo speakers.
For connectivity, it has 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and dual SIM.
Software-wise, the phone runs Android 14 with ColorOS 14 skin on top.
