According to the company, the OPPO Reno12 Pro uses the so-called "diamond architecture" body available in Gold, Black, and Purple colorways. It also comes with a self-developed die-cast aluminum alloy that is said to be the strongest in the industry. Moreover, it now has an IP65 rating for water splash and dust resistance.

In front, the device uses a Gorilla Glass Victus 2-protected 6.67-inch OLED screen with a sharper 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,200 nits peak brightness. This of course comes with an In-Display fingerprint reader and a top-center punch-hole housing its upgraded 50MP f/2.0 Samsung JN5 selfie camera.

Under the hood, it uses the
MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition processor fabbed on the 4nm manufacturing tech. This is the upgraded Dimensity 9200+ chip that is said to be optimized for gaming.

The battery is also now bigger at 5,000mAh and it still has a speedy USB-C 80W fast charging tech.

For the back cameras, it has the same 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera and 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera. But, they changed its 32MP telephoto camera to a 50MP f/2.0 Samsung JN5 2x optical telephoto zoom camera that can do better up to 20x digital zoom.

Moreover, both back and front cameras can now record up to 4K 60fps videos, a rare feature on mid-range phones.
