realme GT 6T launched: Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, 6,000 nits AMOLED, 50MP Sony LYT-600 main cam!

After its teaser last week, realme launched the GT 6T featuring the latest Qualcomm mid-range chip.

As promised by realme they are bringing back the GT series on the global stage which they did at least for India. 

The realme GT 6T features minimalist design in two-tone colorways. It comes in Fluid Silver and Razon Green choices.

At the front, the phone uses a 6.78-inch 1-120Hz LTPO AMOLED screen with crazy high peak brightness at 6,000 nits making it the brightest display for smartphones in the market.

But do note that just the peak to make it usable under intense sunlight. It has a typical brightness of 1600 nits and a manual maximum brightness of 1,000 nits for daily usage.

The screen also has a 2,780 x 1264 resolution, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

Inside, the phone is powered by the 2.63GHz Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU, 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM with 128GB/256GB/512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

When it comes to the battery, the device features a 5,500mAh capacity with 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging.

In terms of camera, it has a 50MP  f/1.88 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT-600 sensor, OIS + 8MP f/2.2 Sony IMX355 ultra-wide angle shooter + LED flash. It also has a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.

Other features are a 9-layer cooling system comprising of 10014mm2 3D tempered dual VC, and geek power tuning. It also has an IP65 water and dust-resistant rating, stereo speakers, and Hi-Res audio certification.

For connectivity, it has 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with realme UI 5.0 skin on top.

It is going to be available in India via Amazon, realme.com, and its local stores. Apparently, there's still no word yet for a PH release but seeing the GT series return in the Global market could be a sign as well. Still don't get your hopes up yet we will update you once we learn more information.
