ASUS Vivobook S 15 launched: CoPilot+ PC, Snapdragon X Elite, Windows 11 AI

ASUS revealed its first Copilot+ PC featuring Windows 11 AI and the brand's propriety AI applications.

ASUS Vivobook S 15 launched as the brand's 1st CoPilot+ PC!

According to ASUS, the notebook was made to improve the productivity and efficiency of its users whether for school or work on the go.

The laptop's design

The laptop features a sleek metallic design in minimalist fashion and silver engraving of ASUS Vivobook on the cover. It also boasts a 14.7mm thin body frame and 1.42 kg lightweight for easier carrying when going out.

The display

For display, it has a 15.6-inch 3K 120Hz OLED panel with 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR600, 0.2 speedy response time.

Powering the laptop is the latest Snapdragon X Elite processor with a custom Oryon CPU and built-in Hexagon AI accelerator. It produces 45 TOPS of AI processing output to enable users to increase efficiency and handle demanding tasks like video editing and AI content creation.

Made to enhance productivity

It is paired with a 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD along with 70WHr battery that can last up to 18 hours of usage. While ASUS didn't mention the charging speed, it claimed the laptop has a USB-C Easy Charge feature.

It also has an FHD IR web camera with Windows Studio Effect, ASUS adaptive dimming, and ASUS Adaptive lock.

For I/O it has 2x USB 4.0, USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI 2.1, a microSD card, 3.5mm audio combo jack.

In terms of wireless connectivity, it has WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

For OS, the laptop runs Windows 11 AI coupled with ASUS AI apps.

The brand claims it has Studio effects for smart background blur and it can even remove noise during video conferences, and produce precise live captions. Moreover, the AI Cocreator app utilizes generative AI to convert sketches into refined digital artwork.
