Apart from the Chinese variant Y200, vivo introduces the Y200 Pro bringing a new slim design, familiar hardware, and curved display.
Based on the images, it seems the Y-series adopts the modern slim, and chic style of the V-series (7.5mm). For this phone, vivo calls it the Silk Style Glass Design at the back. The Green version comes with 3D frosted glass material while the Silk Black features a sand-textured finish with nano-coating to make it resistant to wear and stains.
At the front, it comes with a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits of max brightness, 105 percent NTSC color gamut, and In-Display fingerprint reader.
Inside, the phone uses a 2.2GHz 6nm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor with Adreno 619L GPU, 8GB RAM + 8GB virtual RAM, and 128GB internal storage.
In terms of battery, the Y200 Pro 5G is equipped with 5,000mAh capacity which charges using USB-C 44W wired fast charging.
For the camera, the device uses a 64MP OIS primary shooter + 2MP depth helper + LED flash while the selfie camera has a 16MP shooter.
Other features noted are IP54 water and dust resistance for some protection.
Connectivity-wise the phone has dual 5G, 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and dual SIM.
For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14 skin on top.

The vivo Y200 Pro 5G is currently available in India via the brand's website, Flipkart, and local retail outlets. No word if it will come to other markets as of the moment.
