Apple announces the iPadOS 18!
Among the additions is the native Calculator app for iPad. In fact, it took 14 years before Apple did this. The aforementioned calculator can now enable users to put hard equations and real-time answers.
It even supports variables and refreshes the results as you adjust the inputs. All Math Notes elements are also accessible in the Notes app.

In addition, Notes now includes SmartScript, a useful feature that uses machine learning to improve the legibility of your handwriting while keeping the user's handwriting style.
Apple has implemented a new floating tab bar, which sits on top of your programs as a shortcut and transitions into the sidebar. Developers will be able to harness this API to create contextual menus within apps and improve navigation, and search content.
iPadOS 18 will also have the home screen and app personalization options from iOS 18, as well as an improved Photos app and Apple Intelligence for iPads with the M1 chip or newer. Apple's latest AI features include notification prioritizing, information summarization, image creation, and an improved Siri assistant.
The developer beta for iPadOS 18 is now available today, followed by the public beta next month, and the final release is expected in late 2024.
