Back made from coffee: TECNO showcases CAMON 30 Premier LOEWE Design Edition at COMPUTEX 2024
Apart from its wide array of PC and AIoT innovations, TECNO showcased the CAMON 30 Premier LOEWE Edition for the first time at COMPUTEX 2024.

Its back cover is made from discarded coffee grounds
To recap, the TECNO CAMON 30 Premier LOEWE Edition was made in collaboration with German high-end TV and audio brand LOEWE.
The difference? The body of this phone now features the industry's first back cover built from coffee rounds. It is the company's effort to make an eco-friendly device that "reflects a commitment to sustainable and stylish design".
Compared to its Iceland Basaltic Dark and Uyuni Salt White counterparts, the CAMON 30 Premier LOEWE Edition uses a striking green color-blocking design.
TECNO said that this layout was "inspired by the life cycle of natural leaves with a color palette that represents the growth and life of the green leaf" and is a "celebration of nature, technology, and fashion working in harmony for the good of the planet".

In particular, the rear cover uses more than 25 percent bio-based material, as approved by the USDA. The coffee grounds return manufacturing process employs no organic solvents, no additional water use, and is fully solar powered.
For each back plate produced, roughly 0.8g of discarded coffee grounds will be used.
In terms of specs? The same. It is still a very good camera phone for the price.
