Google Tensor G4 benchmark results shown

Following the Pixel 9 Series introduction, now there's a Tech YouTuber Sahil Karoul who showed the phone's performance scores.

Based on his test, the Google Pixel 9 got 927,945 points on AnTuTu which is way lower than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Dimensity 9300+ which both easily surpass 2 million points.

The AnTuTu score comprises 171,168 points for CPU, 407,240 points for GPU, 172,217 for memory, and 177,320 points for UX. While it may appear to have underwhelming processing power, it's worth pointing out that it has decent GPU performance but will still not match flagships.

For the Geekbench 6 result, Sahil Karoul showed the Tensor G4 had 1,556 single-core performance and 3,706 points for multi-core. For comparison, our ROG Phone 8 with SD8G3 had 2,302 and 7,275.

The YouTuber also shared that the Tensor G4 throttles down to 59 percent of its peak capabilities based on his CPU stress test. This data suggests the device may have trouble handling tough and lengthy tasks.

Anyways, Google hasn't completely detailed the Tensor G4 specs but the Geekbench listing suggests it might feature a 1x performance core with 3.1GHz max clock speed, 3x cores at 2.6GHz, and 4x efficiency cores at 1.95GHz

It's important to keep in mind that raw processing power isn't the whole picture, even while these early benchmarks may cause worries about the processor's sustained performance or pure speed. Google is highlighting the Tensor G4's AI and machine learning abilities instead.

These results are also closer to HUAWEI's Kirin chip from Pura 70 Pro which turned out fine for multi-tasking and daily usage.
