Google officially unveils its latest Pixel 9 Series. In this article, we will talk about the vanilla Pixel 9.
The Google Pixel 9 appeared in a boxy shape and compact form factor, with a flat frame, in contrast to the sleek profile of its predecessor. The horizontal camera bar on the back panel has also been reduced and does not extend to the edges.
In front, you will see a 6.3-inch OLED with FHD+ 2424 x 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2,700 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Moreover, the display also features an Ultrasonic In-display fingerprint scanner.
Inside, the phone is powered by the new Google Tensor G4 processor with Titan M2 security chip, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage, 4,700mAh battery with 27W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
For cameras, it uses using 50MP f/1.68 1/1.31-inch Samsung GNK sensor with OIS paired with a 48MP Sony IMX858 ultra-wide camera and a 10.5MP Samsung 3J1 sensor for selfies.
Other features are stereo speakers, and IP68 dust and water resistance.
Connectivity features are 5G SA/NA, 4G VoLTe, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and Satellite SOS (US only).
For OS, the device runs Android 14 with a promise of 7 years of OS, security, and feature drop updates.

Google Pixel 9 256GB - USD 900 (around PHP 51.2K)
It will be available in India, the US, the UK, and the EU. It will remain unavailable for the PH market.
