ASUS has mentioned that starting a career can seem quite challenging such as the competition being fierce, and now, AI is becoming a factor. Although worries about AI endangering entry-level office employment are common, this viewpoint may not be entirely correct, the brand says.

The initial step is to determine if the laptop is AI-capable. This can be easily done by checking the processor. A CPU with a neural processing unit (NPU) indicates that the laptop can manage AI tasks. Suitable options may encompass the newest Intel Core Ultra series processors, AMD's latest laptop CPUs with AMD Ryzen AI, or the Snapdragon X Series chips.

ASUS continued that when choosing an AI-Power chip, buyers should consider TOPS's (trillion operations per second) performance under its NPU specs sheet. It added the ideal number is 40 TOPs or higher. It's another plus if the laptop has a description of a Copilot+ PC. It only means the device is specially made to provide such AI activities alongside security, speed, and personalized options.

These laptops come equipped with the latest version of Copilot, Microsoft's personal AI assistant. They feature a dedicated Copilot key for easy access and include advanced Copilot+ features like Live Captions, and Cocreator, among others.

Buyers should also look at models with a variety of I/O ports. ASUS recommended having USB4 (ideally with power delivery and display support), USB 3.2 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 slot, and an audio jack could be your choice for this area. Additionally, a laptop equipped with a MicroSD card reader can be extremely useful, especially for those involved in photography or video editing.
