Infinix Smart 9 launched: Helio G81, IP54 rating, Android 14 Go Edition

Infinix quietly launched the entry-level Smart 9 in Malaysia.

The phone comes in 4 colorways Metallic Black, Sandstone Gold, Neo Titanium, Mint Green

In front, it uses a 6.7-inch LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits peak brightness.

Inside, it has a 2.0GHz 12nm MTK Helio G81 8-core chip with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, 3GB or 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage, 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging.

For cameras, the phone sports a 13MP main shooter + filler sensors + LED flash. While at the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera.

Other features noted are a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

For connectivity, the phone sports 4G LTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the Infinix Smart 9 runs Android 14 Go Edition with XOS 14 skin on top.

It is currently available in Malaysia. There's no word yet if it will come to the Philippines. We will update you once we hear from Infinix.
