DJI Mic Mini unveiled with a much more compact design than its previous OsmoAudio generations.
First of all, it has an ultra-light body at 10 grams only making it ideal for content creators who are always on the go.
The device also offers versatility; users can clip it onto their clothing, attach it using magnets, or wear it on a lanyard, enabling users to maintain a clean, professional look while creating content.
This also brings two noise cancellation levels Basic Noise Reduction and Strong Noise Reduction.
The basic version is highly suitable for quiet indoor surroundings like your room, or studio to minimize background noise like fans and aircon or keyboards.
The Strong Noise Cancellation, as the name suggests is made for noisy areas particularly crowded places, and outdoor locations. Basically, the microphone focuses on getting clear vocals when the users are speaking.
To reduce wind interference when filming outside, a windscreen is added by DJI. When input volume spikes, the automatic limiting mechanism corrects audio levels to avoid distortion.
Moreover, it offers dual-channel recording letting its users to record audio from its two transmitters at once. Users may also select between mono or stereo modes for post-production flexibility.
The microphones also came with a charging case so users could store and charge them when not in need. Additionally, the case can store two transmitters, a receiver, a mobile adapter, and windscreens.
When it comes to battery, the microphone can last up to 48 hours of use on a full charge with its case, there's also a quick 5-minute fast charging feature to provide users with a 1-hour recording. There are also power-saving savings like sleep mode and automatic power off to prolong the battery life.
