An opportunity to showcase your art
HUAWEI's art creation initiative invites digital artists to exhibit their imaginative pieces created with the GoPaint App, which is only available on HUAWEI tablets.
The GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity showcases the countless options for creativity on HUAWEI’s professional yet user-friendly painting tool. The app was specifically made for artists covering all skill levels, allowing users to play around using a wide range of tools thus improving the digital art creation experience.
Moreover, beginners can also learn and adapt through the comprehensive guides and tutorials provided by the China Academy of Art.

It features cutting-edge hardware, including a Professional Brush Engine with Fluid, Splatter, and Dual-effect brushes. The software, which is powered by the FangTian Painting Engine 2.0, allows 8K canvases with up to 500 layers, over 150 brush options, and 10,000 pressure levels when used with the third-generation HUAWEI M-Pencil.
This year's competition is themed 'Creative By Nature.' Participants are encouraged to capture nature's beauty and explore endless possibilities with the GoPaint App.
With the help of a large global network of flagship stores, academic institutions, and online communities, the effort aims to gather more than 10,000 entries from participants worldwide. Sci-Fi Art, Design & Fashion, Narrative Art, Cutting Edge Paintings, and Digital Watercolor & Ink are just a few of the categories in which participants can enter.
Those who are interested in joining may submit their entries until December 31, 2024. A selection panel will choose the top 100 entries after reviewing the submissions for each region. An experienced jury team will choose the top 20 Honorable Mentions from the top 100. The jury panel consists of renowned illustrator and Forbes Under 30 (Art and Style) Honoree Victo Ngai, senior concept artist Pablo Dominguez from "Avengers: Endgame," John Park from "The Mandalorian" and "Avatar: Way of the Water," and Marco La Mantia, digital creative director of the HUAWEI Milan Aesthetic Research Center.
Each of the 20 winners is going to receive a prize of USD 1,000 (around PHP 58.8K) + an array of honorary incentives, like exhibition opportunities and even media coverage for more spotlight on your artwork.
The winning entries will be showcased in popular applications like HUAWEI Themes wallpaper, as well as on HUAWEI merchandise accessible to the brand's worldwide user base. The announcement of the winners will take place in 2025, accompanied by an exhibition of the winning artworks.

As an example, two artworks from Filipino creatives made it to the Honourable Mention list last year. Creators named Lanz Ambrosio submitted an entry " A Vintage Woman". It shows a woman with a curious gaze, wearing a flower-embellished hat.
This also features an art style using Renaissance painting and is injected with Ambrosio's modern take.
