DxOMark reveals Xiaomi 17 Ultra's camera scores—ties OPPO Find X9 Pro

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra, one of the most hyped camera phones today has finally been tested by DxOMark's imaging laboratory.

Tied for the 6th best camera phone in the world

As expected, the device ranks among the highest in the world today.

The handset recorded a strong Photo score of 170 points and a video score of 157 points for an average score of 166 points. Its strongest feature is super zoom photos where it got a near best score of 169 points.

Its total score is good enough to tie the OPPO Find X9 Pro with 166 points and even best the HONOR Magic8 Pro with 164 points.

While it is still below the usual heavy hitters like the HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra, vivo X300 Pro, OPPO Find X8 Ultra, and iPhone 17 Pro, this is still a win for Xiaomi.

DxOMark said that the it delivers an excellent overall camera phone performance and was able to bring a significant upgrade over its predessor Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Photo performance is said to be impressive and shines in tele. It also has a natural-looking bokeh mode with very good subject isolation.

However, video performance is good but not on the same high level. It slightly lags behind the top contenders.

To recap, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is packed with Leica tuned 50MP f/1.67 OmniVision Light Hunter 1050L with LOFIC, 50MP ISOCELL JN5 ultra-wide sensor, and a 200MP 1/1.4-inch APO 75 to 100mm telephoto sensor. It also has a Master Lens Ring (Master Zoom Ring) (Leica edition).

In the Philippines, Xiaomi has yet to release a member of the Xiaomi 17 Series.
