The 4G variant looks to have an iPhone 15-inspired back design with its camera island shape, although the rear cover has unique icy textures to come a little different.
In front, it has a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Inside, the TECNO POP 9 4G comes with a new Helio G50 SoC with 2.2GHz clock speed and 12nm process while It also has PowerVR GE8320 GPU. As you can see this is rather an entry-level chip.
The processor is paired with 3GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 64GB eMMC 5.1 expandable storage.
For battery, the phone has a 5,000mAh capacity with 15W fast charging and USB-C.
In the imaging section, the POP 9 4AG uses a 13MP main shooter + dual LED flash. On the selfie side, it has an 8MP front camera with dual LED flash as well.
Other features are a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers with DTS sound, and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
Connectivity-wise the phone has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 2.4GHz/5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM.
For OS, the phone runs Android 14 Go Edition with HiOS 14 skin on top.
For now, the device is going to be available in India on November 26. No word yet for a PH availability. We will let you know if it will come to the Philippines.
