A more affordable handheld soon?

A year after Lenovo revealed the innovative Legion Go, now there seems to be a much more affordable option coming soon. The publisher Windows Central posted official renders of the Legion Go S which revealed it will come with a nearly identical design to the ROG Ally.

It will no longer have the distinctive detachable controller from the previous version and the screen could come with a smaller size.

The image also revealed it will have 18 buttons featuring the typical ABXY keys, 2 joysticks, D-Pad, triggers, and bumpers.

There will also be a small touchpad so users can point the mouse and RGB on the sticks for added aesthetics.

The Legion Go S also has two USB-C connections on the top side of the device, two front-facing speakers, and two rear-facing fans.

Based on the leaks it could come with an AMD Ryzen Z2 chip with Zen 3-plus cores that are a tad below the Z1 extreme chip with Zen 4 cores.

Finally, the leak also says it will be priced between USD 399-449 (around PHP 23K to 26K). That is a significant price drop from the first version with PHP 49K SRP. It can also challenge the starting price of the Steam Deck in the Philippines assuming the leaks are accurate.
