OnePlus to start 2025 w/ powerful devices
Earlier this month we reported that the company is set to unveil the OnePlus 13 on January 2025. However, the exact release date was never mentioned at that time. Additionally, there were also rumors of the 13R joining.

Now, the firm has updated its Global website and finally revealed we will get to see the new set of devices on January 7, 2025. You could also spot the OnePlus 13R to tag along at the launch event.
To recall, the OnePlus 13 uses a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a large 6,000mAh battery, and 3x 50MP cameras with Hasselblad branding. It also runs Android 15 with OxygenOS 15 skin on top.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 13R is confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a large 6,000mAh battery, and a triple camera setup + LED flash.
Rumored details are 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate and bright 4,500 nits display.
Camera leaks suggest fans may expect a 50MP main with OIS + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP helper.
Finally, the teaser photo revealed there will be Smarter AI features to expect on the upcoming 13R model. There will also be a Sapphire Blue colorway for the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro.
