realme 14 Pro+ silently launched in China: SD7sG3, 1.5K 120Hz curved OLED, 50MP 3x Periscope

realme quietly launched the realme 14 Pro+ with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and 50MP rear camera in China ahead of the global launch next week.

From the renders, the new realme 14 Pro+ has stepped up in the visuals department and has gone for a more premium look. It even features the color-changing back panel that was reported earlier.

It features a large 6.83-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 2,800 x 1,272 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3,840Hz PWM dimming. Under the panel is the fingerprint scanner. 

Inside the phone are the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 octa-core processor, Adreno 720 GPU, 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging via USB-C.

At the back of the realme 14 Pro+ is a circular camera module with a metal-like trim. Inside the circle are the three cameras with three LED flashes in between. The cameras are made up of a 50MP f/1.88 main camera with a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX896 sensor and OIS, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP f/2.65 3x periscope camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor and an LED flash.

In front is the 32MP f/2.45 selfie camera with a Sony sensor.

Other features include IP66 + IP68 + IP69 water and dust resistance rating, 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, NFC and dual NanoSIM.

The phone is running on Android 15-based realme UI 6.0 and it comes in either Sea Rock Gray or Gilded White colorways.

The phone is already for purchase in China. It is expected to launch globally and in India next week. There is no word yet on Philippine availability and pricing.
