Redmi Turbo 4 launched: Dimensity 8400 Ultra, up to IP69, 6,550mAh battery

Redmi Turbo 4 was announced with a premium chip, large battery, and triple IP rating.

The 1st phone with Dimensity 8400 Ultra!

The Redmi Turbo 4 comes in three design choices of Black, Green or White colorways. Moreover, it has triple IP rating consisting of IP66 + IP68 + IP69 to protect against dust and extreme water.

In front, it uses 6.67-inch OLED screen with 1.5K 2712 x 1220 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 2560Hz instant touch sampling rate, 1920Hz PWM dimming, 3,200 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

Inside, it is powered by the 3.25GHz 4nm MTK Dimensity 8400 Ultra 8-core chip with Mali-G720 MC6 GPU, 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB/512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

The Redmi Turbo 4 features

This phone also has large 6,550mAh battery which charges using USB-C and 90W power brick.

For cameras, the Redmi Turbo 4 sports 50MP Sony LYT-600 main shooter with OIS + EIS and 8MP ultra-wide sensor + LED flash. At the front, it has 20MP OV20B sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

Other features mentioned are stereo speakers large stainless steel  VC cooling with a size of 5,000mm2 to keep the temperatures low.

Connectivity features are 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 15 HyperOS 2.0.

It is now available in China on the other hand, the Redmi Turbo 4 is reportedly going global as POCO X7 Pro on January 9, 2025.
