Redmi Book 14/16 2025 announced with Intel Core 5 220H, and up to 120Hz 2.8K display

Redmi refreshes its Book 14 and 16 with the 2025 version featuring new AI intel chips.

New Intel AI laptops from Redmi!

The new laptops come with aluminum alloy and have CNC-machined hinges to provide durable build quality. They are also slim in design with 15.9mm thickness and weighs 1.36kg for Book 14 while Book 16 retains the same thickness but weighs slightly heavier at 1.65kg.

When it comes to display, the Redmi Book 14 uses a 14-inch 2.8K 2880 x 1800 resolution, 120Hz dynamic refresh rate, and 400 nits peak brightness.

Display features

The Book 16 has a 16-inch display, 2.5K 2560 x 1600 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 90.4 percent screen-to-body ratio, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, and 400 nits peak brightness. Both have Dolby Vision for enhanced visuals too.

Inside, both are powered with the Intel Core 5 220H and come with up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

Book 14 uses 56WHr battery while the Book 16 comes with larger 72HWHr size. Meanwhile, both versions charges using 100W power brick.

The key features

They also have AI-optimized dual-fan cooling to keep the temperatures in check. They are also equipped with Dolby Atmos sound for improved listening on its stereo speakers. Additionally, the laptops have microphones and a 1080p web camera for video calls.

In terms of ports, both have 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, 1x HDMI 2.1, 2x USB-A 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Wireless connectivity features are WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

Both run Windows 11 but also support HyperOS Connect to seamlessly collaborate with Xiaomi devices like phones, tablets, and even electric cars.
