Calling all Xiaomi fans! Xiaomi has announced that its next flagship, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, will be released globally this first quarter of the year.

According to a Phone Arena report, Xiaomi Group Partner and President Lu Weibing shared this update but it wasn't clear when the exact release date will be. Lu said the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be officially introduced after the Chinese New Year on January 29, which means it will be around February or March.

Note that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra may first be available in China, followed by other countries.

There is still no information about the device’s specs but Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to have Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. It is also rumored to have a 1-inch Sony Lytia LYT-900 main camera, a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN5 ultra-wide camera, a 50-megapixel close-range telephoto, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor.

There is also information that this will have a 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 6,000 mAh battery with support for up to 90W wired, and 50W wireless charging speeds.

In December 2024, China's 3C certified the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. While not confirmed yet, the database indicates that there are two variants of the new flagship with model numbers 2501PN30C and 2519PN30C. The former supports calls with Tiantong satellite connectivity and text messaging via Beidou Satellite.

The same certification reveals that both variants may ship with Xiaomi's MDY-14-EC charger with 90W fast charging.

What do you think guys?
