HONOR X9c Smart 5G teased to arrive in PH soon

HONOR teases a more affordable tough phone called the X9c Smart launching in PH soon.

Just like its big bro, the Smart edition offers All-angle Ultra Tough + water resistance. However, the brand did not reveal if it has the same level of durability as the X9c or a toned-down version.

In front, instead of an OLED panel, it now uses a 6.8-inch TFT LCD screen with 2412 x 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 16M colors.

Inside, it uses a 2.5GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra octa-core chip with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, 5,800mAh battery and charges with USB-C 35W HONOR SuperCharge.

In the camera department, it uses a 108MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture + PDAF but the OIS is removed. It is also paired with 5MP ultra-wide and LED flash.

Other features noted are a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a single loudspeaker.

Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 5 (2.4GHz/5GHz), GPS, NFC and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with MagicOS 8.0 out of the box.

HONOR hasn't mentioned an exact date and its price but said it will be available in the country soon.
