Xiaomi updates End-of-Life list (EOL), 9 devices were affected
Xiaomi recently added 9 devices to the End-of-Life list that will no longer receive updates.

No more OS and security updates
These smartphones will no longer get updated to the latest OS or receive security patches via rollout.
This procedure is nothing new to the Android industry. After all, Google only requires 2 years of upgrades. Some manufacturers go beyond that to provide the best service they can.

Since these devices are no longer eligible for software updates, it could hint at a time for an upgrade for its users due to security vulnerability.
Another option is to use unofficial builds like LineageOS, which requires some technical knowledge and research to succeed.
