The new HUAWEI Mate XT is now available for purchase on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, HUAWEI Online Store, and HUAWEI Experience Stores nationwide.

Those who will purchase will get freebies worth PHP 38,998. The bundle includes a HUAWEI FreeClip and one-time use 1-Year Accidental Damage Protection service.

Moreover, it comes with a one-time use 1-Year HUAWEI Care screen protection service and a 2-time screen protector service. It also has an APAC region warranty coverage, 1 to 1 Proactive Care Service for service-related concerns, worry-free repair service with flagship loan device free of freight, and priority service.

In case you missed it, the HUAWEI Mate XT is the world's first "tri-fold" smartphone.

HUAWEI Mate XT Ultimate Design when fully unfolded

When fully opened, the handset just measures 3.6mm, making it the slimmest under that mode. When fully folded, it is 12.8 mm thick or just as slim as an iPhone with a case.

Smartphone mode, small tablet mode

It is an all-in-one pocketable device that could work as a smartphone when fully folded at 6.4-inch with FHD+ 1080p resolution, a compact tablet at a 7.9-inch screen with a 2K resolution that is great for running two apps at the same time, and a regular large tablet mode at 10.2-inch with 16:11 aspect ratio for a wide viewing experience. It can also transform into a pocket PC with a dedicated after-market keyboard.

At 10.2-inch, it is the largest display on a commercially available folding smartphone.

HUAWEI said that they made this possible by using an Advanced Precision Hinge System that folds in opposite directions and allows it to fold into three screens. This solution even increases its resistance impact by 30 percent compared to a conventional book-type foldable.

The tri-fold also features the Ultra Aperture XMAGE Camera. This highlights a 50MP f/1.4~4.0 RYYB Ultra Aperture Camera with OIS featuring a 10-size Adjustable Physical Aperture designed to capture sharper, professional-level shots.

HUAWEI also paired this with a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12MP f/3.4 5.5x periscope telephoto with OIS. For selfies, it has an 8MP f/2.2 shooter.
