iPad (2025) priced in PH: Apple A16 chip + 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, starts at PHP 24,990

Apart from the iPad Air 2025, Apple also introduced the iPad 2025 with incremental upgrades.

iPad 11th gen announced

The latest spec bump is the Apple A16 chip coming from the A14 of the 10th gen last 2022. Apple also claimed that this is 30 percent quicker and offers up to 50 percent performance boost overall. In comparison with an unnamed "best-selling Android tablet", Apple said this is 6x faster than that.

To recap, the A16 uses 5-core CPU, 4-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine.

Moving forward, it still has the 10.9-inch Liquid Retina screen with 500 nits peak brightness, True Tone Display, 2360 x 1640 resolution at 264 PPI.

The display

Apple did not mention the RAM but the base storage is double to 128GB and is also being offered in 256GB and 512GB options.

In the battery department, the new iPad boasts a 28.6WHr size which the brand says can last up to 10 hours of multimedia usage or 9 hours for the cellular model.

For cameras, it has 12MP f/1.8, 5P lens AF with Focus Pixels main shooter and 12MP 122-degree front camera.

Other features noted are Touch ID, landscape stereo speakers, and dual microphones.

Connectivity-wise, it has optional 5G, WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz) HT80 with MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2.

For OS, the tablet runs iPadOS 18 out of the box.
