MWC 2025: TECNO CAMON 40 Pro (4G variant) comes w/ MTK Helio G100 Ultimate + 50MP Sony LYT 700C main cam

This is the more affordable version of the CAMON 40 Pro 5G.

A more affordable camera-centric phone?

In addition to the DxOMark-winning CAMON 40 Pro 5G, TECNO has also launched a 4G version of the CAMON 40 Pro.

This device is closer to the regular CAMON 40 except that it features a sleeker design, better resistance, 3D curved AMOLED panel, and a larger selfie sensor.

It features a new Classic Side-axis Design inspired by the neck of the swan. It is available in Galaxy Black with a marble-like look, two-tone Emerald Lake Green (Silver and Green), and Glacier White with ice cave-like paint finish.

The handset is also drop resistant and has the industry's best IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance rating.

In front, the handset sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ 2436 x 1080 resolution, 393 ppi, In-Display fingerprint reader, and the upgraded 50MP shooter with AF for selfies.

Under the hood, it is powered by the 2.2GHz 6nm Helio G100 Ultimate octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 8GB RAM (up to 16GB Extended RAM), 128GB or 256GB internal storage, and a large 5,200mAh battery capacity with USB-C 45W Super Charge tech.

The handset also has 50MP 1/1.56-inch OIS main camera, 8MP ultra-wide shooter, dual flash, One-Tap Button, and AI FlashSnap for instant high-quality captures.

Completing the specs, the device also has stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos audio, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, NFC, GPS, and dual SIM.

It runs with Android 15 operating system with improved TECNO AI.

We confirmed that the CAMON 40 Pro will launch in the Philippines. However, there is no word on when will these devices be available in the country yet.
